About us

A boutique studio built on the bespoke details

Molly's Paper Co. is a boutique creative design studio. Over six years, we have served more than 200 clients across 500+ projects. We recently shifted gears to focus on three pillars: weddings and large events, branding for small businesses, and art licensing for Molly's artwork.

Most of our work revolves around the bespoke details: getting to know our clients and their stories, and letting that shape what makes each piece unique. We are growing quickly, with more than 50 couples on our wedding invitation waitlist and plenty of projects on the horizon.

The role

The operational spine of the studio

This person will work closely alongside Molly and be involved in every project that runs through our studio, from client intake to production. You will own the operational spine of our client projects: keeping timelines on track, preparing proposals, coordinating with our print vendors, communicating with clients, and staying on top of deadlines. You will also help physically assemble wedding invitation suites and day-of paper when needed.

This is a strong fit for someone who likes owning a process end to end, gets satisfaction from a clean spreadsheet and an organized project board, and would rather catch a problem early than fix it after the fact.

What you'll do

A little bit of everything, done very well

01 Client and project management

  • Keep project timelines current and move projects forward proactively, without waiting to be asked
  • Communicate with clients on design updates, timeline questions, and production issues
  • Schedule client meetings and manage the studio calendar
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates for Molly's review, then send and track them once approved
  • Maintain client records, project files, and workflows in Dubsado and Google Drive

02 Production and vendor coordination

  • Manage jobs with our print vendors: submit files, track job numbers, review digital proofs, and follow through on corrections and revisions
  • Proofread every piece before final printing, including names, dates, venues, addresses, and vendor-supplied labels
  • Get client approval on every piece before it goes into production
  • Prepare and check variable data files for escort cards, place cards, and seating charts, including cleaning up client guest lists into print-ready spreadsheets
  • Coordinate shipping and fulfillment through Pirate Ship and UPS, including occasional international shipments and customs paperwork

03 Assembly and fulfillment

  • Assemble wedding suites and day-of paper alongside Molly on scheduled assembly days
  • Pack, label, and ship finished orders
  • Run local errands as needed: the post office, vendor pickups, client or venue drop-offs, and craft store runs for assembly supplies

04 E-commerce and marketing

  • Update our Shopify site, including adding completed projects to the portfolio pages and maintaining product listings
  • Eventually, help create semi-custom wedding invitation suite collections
  • Schedule social content and help run the MPC Instagram

What we're looking for

You notice when something has gone quiet

Required

  • Based in Oklahoma City and able to be in office Monday through Thursday, plus assembly days, which are scheduled in advance
  • Extremely detail-oriented, meaning you catch the typo in a guest's name on card 183 of 225
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You will coordinate with clients and vendors and need to speak in our tone of voice.
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and confident in spreadsheets (guest lists, variable data, tracking)
  • Organized by instinct. You like keeping things on track, and you notice when something has gone quiet.
  • Able to work under pressure. Given the nature of the wedding business, our deadlines are immovable.
  • Works well with creatives, and can spot organizational or administrative gaps and put better processes in place
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up real work: drafting client correspondence, cleaning spreadsheets, summarizing notes, and handling repetitive production tasks

Helpful, not required

  • Dubsado (preferred)
  • Adobe Illustrator (preferred)
  • Canva
  • Shopify
  • Todoist
  • Print production or paper goods background
  • Wedding industry or event planning experience

Before you apply

Honest notes about the job

  1. The work is seasonal. Some stretches are manageable, and some land several suites and multiple day-of deadlines in the same two weeks. Assembly days are planned in advance, but some weeks bring tight turnarounds and long hours.
  2. Assembly is physical. Expect fine detail work with wax seals, ribbon, envelope liners, and more. Some days you will be at a computer, and others at a craft table.
  3. Mistakes can be costly. A missed typo means a reprint, a delayed shipment, and a difficult conversation with a couple. This is the highest-stakes part of the job, and we take it seriously.
  4. You will handle confidential information. Full guest lists with names and home addresses. Discretion is required, and you will sign an NDA.
  5. Pricing authority is earned. For the first 90 days, you will prepare proposals for Molly's review. Once you know our margin structure and vendor pricing, that expands.
